The Perfect Weekend
Intro
Always Check on the Homies isn’t a travel brand, or a food reviewer, or a lifestyle vlog. We aren’t the most well-seasoned and well-informed recommenders of eats or fun places to go. In some aspects, we may be out of touch with the current trends and not even be aware of the hottest things the market has to offer.
ACOTH is a brand that was started to encourage conversation around mental health. We started off wanting to focus on men’s mental health, but as we got deeper we realized how intertwined men, women, and our surrounding communities are when it comes to mental health. ACOTH believes that at the heart of good mental health are a few close people that allow you to be yourself, chase your purpose, and support you when times get hard.
Therefore, “The Perfect Weekend” isn’t supposed to be a list of the newest and best and flashiest things to do in San Diego (though it might contain a good amount). The aim of this list is to encourage people to hangout more with their friends and loved ones. It’s supposed to spark inspiration when you’re looking to reconnect with others or meet new people.
I hope after looking through this list, you find something you can go and do with your friends, or by yourself, and have a grand ole’ time. Maybe you’ll become a regular and have a “usual” and make it “the spot” for you and all your friends. Or, maybe you hate it, but at least you got to hug your homies and can laugh about it in the group chat.
Thanks,
Always Check on the Homies
